How it Works
The process, from first conversation to resolution.
Structured settlements are more flexible than many people realize, and more straightforward to implement than they sometimes appear. Here's how we guide clients through the process.
Step One: Initial Consultation

We begin with a conversation to understand the situation: the nature of the claim, a possible settlement range, the specific circumstances and financial needs, and any special considerations – ongoing medical care, Medicare or Medicaid, dependents, or the employment context.
Step Two: Needs Assessment

We work with you to identify what a durable settlement will look like. What is needed now, and what will be needed in five or twenty years? What particulars of the case, often non-monetary, need to be navigated and satisfied to achieve a meaningful resolution.
Step Three: Plan Design

Once the right approach is identified, we work with clients to design settlement plans that address the key needs in the case, taking into consideration all collateral benefit sources and the appropriate financial and service providers.
Step Four: Coordination and Closing

We coordinate with all parties to ensure an efficient, well-documented close. We handle the complexity so that everyone else can focus on their piece of the process.

Step Five: Ongoing Support
Our relationship doesn't end at signing. We remain available to answer questions, assist with documentation, and provide support if circumstances change.
