Len Blonder has more than 40 years of structured settlement experience and has consulted on over 10,000 cases involving billions of dollars in settlements. A recognized national leader, he was instrumental in preserving the tax-free status of structured settlements during the 1980s, work that led to the creation of the National Structured Settlements Trade Association (NSSTA).
Len has served 25 years on NSSTA’s Board of Directors, chaired several key committees, and is the only person to serve three terms as President. He is frequently sought by clients for advice on settlement strategies that protect payment security, reduce risk, and provide lasting value.

Kim Smith entered the structured settlement industry in 1989 with a solid foundation in insurance and accounting. With over three decades of experience, Kim’s depth of knowledge brings value in a wide variety of cases. She is known for her tenacity and innovative solutions in complex cases focusing on the long-term needs of the clients she serves. Kim has particular expertise in the field of medical malpractice, including California’s Medical Injury Compensation Reform Act (MICRA) and similar statutes in other states.
A recognized leader in the industry, Kim was among the first to earn the Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC) designation. She served as chair of the National Structured Settlements Trade Association (NSSTA) Committee in 2004 and has presented extensively to law firms, insurers, and professional associations.
